Fortnite Chapter 2 - Reflections & Changes

You may have noticed the Fortnite dashboard changing over the last week. Thank you for your patience with some quirky system behaviour while we have implemented changes.

To give you a quick summary of what we've changed;

New reporting permissions for coaches

"With great power comes great responsibility"

Or so the saying goes... With this mind, we have added new permissions for coaches to manage their report templates and personalise the reports they see on Civi. We will be looking at how best we can support you to adapt your reports to be most useful for you over the coming months.

To get started, let's look at how you would set up a personal version of a R4W Passport Progress report as an example.... Click into this article for instructions.

R4W Report Now Available

I'm pleased to let you know that you will now find the R4W Passport Progress under the case reports section of Civi. You can also filter this report to a cohort, region or coach under the Education and R4W sections (respectively) of the filter menu of the report.

This will give you the R4W Passport records of everyone in a given region/coach/cohort and you can use the sorting screen if you need to see this in a particular sequence.

Enjoy and remember that you can feedback to the impact team via the public comments of these posts!

R4W Passports: they've migrated!

The R4W Passports have changed from being an activity to being embedded in the young person's case record to avoid duplication of passports. To access and edit a young person's R4W passports and upload their CVs: find your young person's contact record by typing their name into the search bar in the top left hand corner on Civi, click on their name (which will take you to the YP's contact record), click on their case record (this will be labelled as e.g. "Engagement (subject) - Enrolled") and scroll down to a bluey-grey drop-down bar that is labelled 'R4W+'.

Link the Events Calendar to Outlook

If you would like to see the civi events calendar in your outlook (so you don't need to update the ops & training to your outlook now and then the calendars screen. Anyone in the organisation should be able to do this but this guidance is primarily for comms, BPM's and coaches.
